Whether you're new to programming or wanting to sharpen your skills, the Dev Intro Workshops are perfect for you. Workshops will be focused around today's most used languages and programs.

Select ONE focused workshop and spend over three hours in class with an expert, learning the basics in these hands-on workshops.

Intro to JavaScript

Introduction to Object Oriented JavaScript

Taught by Froilan Miranda, Zip Code Wilmington

Starts with an introduction to object-oriented programming, then reviews the JavaScript object model, and finally demonstrates concepts of object-oriented programming in JavaScript. Participants should understand JavaScript concepts such as variables, types, functions, and scope.

Intro to Node.js

In software engineering, a design pattern is a general reusable solution to a commonly occurring problem within a given context in software design. This course will focus on applying object oriented design patterns in Node.js to solve common design problems, and produce elegant reusable clean code. Participants should understand JavaScript concepts such as variables, types, functions, and scope.
